Naturally, this is all done through fun and play, caring and cuddles. We ensure the children have a wonderful time whilst at Happy Days and meet all of their physical and social/emotional needs in order for them to share their experiences with their parents or peers

Parents can benefit from a close working partnership with the staff as well as some family friendly services such as flexible bookings and extended opening/closing times. Social events and parents events contribute to the strong links between nursery and home and our interactive FAMLY app sends information direct to your phone letting you know all about your child's day.

With outings, visitors, concerts, pantomimes, dress up days, exciting role play areas, dens and dancing everyone has a very happy time
Our setting in Milford Haven
Our lovely premises
Happy Days has been operating in Milford Haven for over 30 years and is now caring for the children of past attendees. With a large building in the centre of town we are ideally located for parents travelling to/from work. Parking spaces are available. The setting has four dedicated age rooms, each having all the space, resources and equipment needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for the children, including nappy changing areas, Milk kitchen, sleep/rest rooms, quiet rooms, child size toilets and lovely garden areas with lots of play equipment available.
Health and Wellbeing
With our in house cook preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks, children benefit from a healthy diet whilst in our care. Happy Days has also been awarded Bronze, Silver and Gold in the Designed to Smile Toothbrushing Scheme and have achieved all 7 areas of the Healthy and Sustainable preschool Scheme. With Quality Assurance status through the Wales PPA and a Grade 5 Environmental Health award, Happy Days Milford Haven continue to look for ways to improve our service.
Learning and Development
The team use their skills and expertise to encourage the childrens development through lots of fun, exciting, learning experiences. Tiny Tots, Tweenies and Playgroup rooms practice the New Curriculum in Wales and Foundation Phase Profile, as well as introducing elements of new frameworks including the Curiosity approach and In the Moment Planning. We have been through inspection by ESTYN achieving a GOOD grade.
Our Team
Our staff team is led by Debbie, Managing Director and Nicola, Nursery Manager. Each age room has a Room Leader and one of which is also the Deputy Manager. In addition we have 16 practitioners, some of which have been with Happy Days for over 15 years. All staff are qualified to Level 5, 3 or 2 in Childcare, Learning and Development and a number have Playwork qualifications. 2 apprentices are working toward their level 2 qualification. All staff have clear DBS checks in place and have Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Safety certificates.
All staff have regular supervision and appraisal and continue to develop their skills through ongoing training.
